Resources
Over the past two years, Youth @ the Table has produced a series of resources through print and online publications regarding youth engagement at the board level. Our resources are formed in partnership with program participants and fellow community members. We value sharing lived experiences and stories from youth, board members, and mentors to prove a holistic understanding of such a unique volunteer experience.

Good Practice Guide
Volunteer Alberta’s Youth @ the Table team, together with 25 youth participants of the program’s first cohort, co-created a Good Practice Guide answering the following question: “How might Alberta no profit board better engage youth?”
This guide outlines how we arrived at our final list of good practices and offer suggestions of what boards can do to better support young people at the decision-making tables of Alberta’s nonprofits sector. Of you have any questions, please contact Eunice at edoroni@volunteeralberta.ca
